Join our enthusiastic and certified guides on this tour as you escape the crowds and learn how animals and plants deal with the long, hard winters in the Canadian Rockies. Price includes guide, snowshoe rentals, hot chocolate and a snack.

Booking Your Tour Date & Time

This 1.5 hour tour runs daily at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 3:30pm now until April 15, 2019 (while conditions allow). Once you have purchased your tour online simply call (1-403-522-1385) or visit the Guides Cabin (located between Lodge of Ten Peaks and Whisky Jack Lodge) at least 30 minutes prior to taking a tour. Please show your receipt and photo ID when you arrive.

Tour Details

This tour explores a route close to the base area of the resort near the ski-out.

  • Difficulty: Easy.
  • Price $55 +GST - Includes guide, snowshoe rentals, hot chocolate and a snack.
  • Tour is approximately 1.5hrs.
  • Departing daily at 10:00am, 12:00pm and 3:30pm now until April 15, 2019 (while condition allow).
  • Meet with your snowshoe guide at the guides cabin in-front of Lodge of the Ten Peaks 30 minutes before departure to collect rental equipment.

Note: Guests are required to wear warm winter gear. We suggest a winter jacket, snow pants, gloves, winter footwear and warm socks, and a toque or balaclava. In addition, snow goggles are great for sun glare and windier days. Our Rental Shop can fit you with a winter jacket and pants (optional) or you can purchase top brand winter gear from our Alpine Sports Boutique. A light backpack is also a good idea to carry your camera, water and snacks. All snowshoe tours are conducted within the ski resort boundary and only within avalanche controlled terrain.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to reservations can be made based on availability. Within 48 hours of the snowshoeing time, refunds will not be issued. As Snowshoeing is a winter sport, there will be no refunds for extreme weather conditions.
