Winter Night Snowshoe Tour

This truly unique winter experience will take you on an awe-inspiring nighttime walk to view the night sky as you've never seen it before. Experience what it feels like to be in a winter forest while getting a rare behind the scenes look at what really goes on at a busy ski resort after the last chair of the day. Price includes guide, snowshoe rentals, head lamp rental, hot chocolate and a snack plus transfer from and to hotels in Lake Louise.

Booking Your Tour Date & Time

This 1.5 hour tour departs daily at 6:00pm now until March 10, 2019 (while condition allow). Once you have purchased your tour online simply call (1-403-522-1385) or visit the Guides Cabin (located between Lodge of Ten Peaks and Whisky Jack Lodge). This tour need to be reserved at lease 24h before the start of the tour. Please show your receipt and photo ID when you arrive.

Tour Details

This tour explores Meadowlark, a route located at the top of the winter Sightseeing Gondola and is suitable for all abilities.

  • Difficulty: Moderate.
  • Price $65 +GST - Includes guide, snowshoe rentals, Head lamp rental, hot chocolate and a snack plus transfer from and to hotels in Lake Louise.
  • Tour is approximately 1.5hrs.
  • Departing daily at 6:00pm now until to March 10, 2019 (while condition allow).
  • Meet with your snowshoe guide at the guides cabin in-front of Lodge of the Ten Peaks 30 minutes before departure to collect rental equipment.

Note: Guests are required to wear warm winter gear. We suggest a winter jacket, snow pants, gloves, winter footwear and warm socks, and a toque or balaclava. Our Rental Shop can fit you with a winter jacket and pants (optional) or you can purchase top brand winter gear from our Alpine Sports Boutique. A light backpack is also a good idea to carry your camera, water and snacks. All snowshoe tours are conducted within the ski resort boundary and only within avalanche controlled terrain.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to reservations can be made based on availability. Within 48 hours of the snowshoeing time, refunds will not be issued. As Snowshoeing is a winter sport, there will be no refunds for extreme weather conditions.
