Season Pass Definitions

Ages are calculated as of November 1 of this year. Proof of age is required when you pick up your pass.

Adult - Ages 18-64.

Mid-Week - Ages 18-79. Valid Monday to Thursday only. Mid-week pass holders receive 20%  discounts on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Family - Two parents and children up to the age of 17 living at the same address. Lake Louise reserves the right to determine final decisions on all family circumstances relating to blended or non-conventional families.

Youth - Ages 13-17. Proof of age required.

Child - Ages 6-12.

Tiger - 0-5, child must be under the age of 6.

Senior  - Ages 65-79.

Super Senior  - Ages 80 and over.

Student - Ages 18-29 enrolled in a full-time program with an accredited Canadian College or University, whether in-class, online, or a combination thereof, for a minimum of 1 semester, at the time of purchasing their pass OR…

Show proof of enrollment in a full-time program with an accredited Canadian College or University, whether in-class, online, or a combination thereof, for a future semester (ie. winter semester = January to April) within the ski area operating season that they are purchasing their pass.

Apprenticeships and Co-op programs may qualify for a student pass as long as they are unpaid positions. In each case, anyone applying under these circumstances, will need to supply confirmation from their respective institutions indicating that their apprenticeship and/or Co-op program is unpaid work as part of their full-time education.

Student Add-On - Ages 18-29. Full-time students (see Student requirements above) can be added on to the Family Pass.

CADS - Canadian Association of Disabled Skiers – membership card required.

CADS Youth - Ages 13-17 who are members of the Canadian Association of Disabled Skiers – membership card required.

Corporate - Valid for up to 25, 40, or 60 uses per year, depending on which you choose. One use per day and fully transferable.

VIP Parking - Self parking in conveniently located parking lot. VIP Parking Passes are valid for use from winter opening day to winter closing day and are fully transferable.

Parent Pass - Parent Pass - Shared pass between two parents. Includes same day complimentary Learning Area ticket for the other parent. A Parent Pass can only be purchased in conjunction with a Child or Tiger Pass. Lake Louise reserves the right to determine final decisions on all family circumstances relating to non-conventional families. Note: Parent Passes are available for pickup 24 hours after time of photos.

Grade 2 Pass - The Grade 2 Pass gives children in grade 2 access to skiing/riding all season long at The Lake Louise Ski Resort. A $20 administration and operational fee is required to process each Grade 2 pass. Proof that your child qualifies for this pass must be presented at time of pass pickup (birth certificate, Alberta Health Care Card or BC Health Care Card, current grade 2 report card, last year's grade 1 report card). The Grade 2 Pass is only available to children in Alberta and Southeastern BC. Grade 2 passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Lost passes can be replaced for a $5 fee.

Individual VIP Base Area Lift Priority - Get lift line priority at the Lake Louise base area! Pass does not include lift access, and is to be used in conjunction with an existing Lake Louise Season Pass, Big 3 Season Pass, Super Pass, or Rocky Mountain Passport. Limited quantities. Note: VIP Base Area Lift Line Priority is valid for use at the Grizzly Express Gondola, Glacier Express Quad, and Juniper Chair (new next season) ONLY, and does NOT include Summit Quad Chair, Paradise Triple Chair, Ptarmigan Quad Chair, Larch Express Quad, Top of the World 6-Pack Express, and the Beginner Area. VIP pass holders only, and does not apply to guests of VIP pass holders.

Family VIP Combo - Includes VIP Base Area Lift Priority Passes (see above) for each Family member. Also includes 1 Storage Locker, and 1 VIP Parking Pass.

Challenge Max Tune Pass- 3 Challenge Max ski/snowboard tunes included. Future tunes (4+), are $30 each. Includes: P-Tex, Stone Base Grind, Ceramic Edge and Hot Wax. Repairs not included. Click here for more information on the Challenge Max Ski Tuning Robot.
