Half-Day Banff & Yoho Snowshoe Tours

We offer four exciting and unique Half-Day Snowshoe Tours on various trails in Banff and Yoho National Parks!

Our certified guides will lead you on one of four trails in Banff & Yoho National Parks while providing colorful stories of the local history, the stunning natural landscape rich with wildlife and natural landforms. Price includes experienced certified guide, snowshoe rentals (snowshoes, boots and poles), hot chocolate and snack. 

  • Emerald Lake (Yoho) - Beginner.
  • Lake O'Hara Fire Road (Yoho) - Moderate
  • Sherbrooke Lake (Yoho) - Advanced.

Booking Your Tour Date & Time

These tour runs daily at 9:00am starting December 15, 2018 until April 15, 2019 (while conditions allow). Once you have purchased your tour online simply call (1-403-522-1385), email guides@skilouise.com or visit the Guides Cabin (located between Lodge of Ten Peaks and Whisky Jack Lodge). This tour need to be reserved at lease 24h before the start of the tour.. Please show your receipt and photo ID when you arrive.

Tour Details

Price includes experienced certified guide, snowshoe rentals (snowshoes, boots and poles), hot chocolate and snack .

  • Tours are approximately 3-4 hours.
  • Departing daily at 9:00am from December 15, 2018 to April 1, 2019 (custom departure times available upon request).
  • Meet with your snowshoe guide at the guides cabin in-front of Lodge of the Ten Peaks 30 minutes before departure to collect rental equipment (meeting at the trail head also possible).
  • Includes transportation from and to Lake Louise (Ski Resort and local hotels).

Note: Guests are required to wear warm winter gear. We suggest a winter jacket, snow pants, gloves, winter footwear and warm socks, and a toque or balaclava. In addition, snow goggles are great for sun glare and windier days. Our Rental Shop can fit you with a winter jacket and pants (optional) or you can purchase top brand winter gear from our Alpine Sports Boutique. A light backpack is also a good idea to carry your camera, water and snacks.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are recommended due to limited spaces. Changes to reservations can be made based on availability. As Snowshoeing is a winter sport, there will be no refunds for extreme weather conditions.
